TOP PLAYS – WEEK OF NOVEMBER 9, 2015

St. Germain‘s self-titled release has attained the top spot on our charts this week. This is a strong album from french musician Ludovic Novarre, one of the artists who helped bring downtempo into the mainstream back in 2000 (was it that long ago?) with his “french touch” release Tourist.  This album was more than six years in the making and features collaborations with a number of West African musicians.

Ursula 1000 is back in the Top 10 at number two. It’s his sixth album and features collaborations with the likes of Mocean Worker, Qdup,  and Federico Aubele.

Here’s the complete rundown:
1 ST. GERMAIN –  St. Germain
2 URSULA 1000 – Voyeur
3 EMANCIPATOR – Seven Seas
4 JEAN HONEYMOON – Come On In
5 VARIOUS ARTISTS – Remixes (Remixed by Umbo)
6 CARAVAN PALACE – Robot
7 ANCIENT ASTRONAUTS – Themes From Tomorrowland
8 MARIBOU STATE – Portraits Remixed
9 MOCEAN WORKER – Mocean Worker
10 YPPAH – Tiny Pause
