New Antenna, Same Great Music for Fall Season

(08/16/15) As many of our listeners already know, Mountain Chill/ KRKQ sustained significant damage to our primary FM transmitting antenna earlier this summer. In the meantime, we’ve been operating on a standby antenna at somewhat reduced power.

KRKQ Antenna SiteWe are excited to announce that later this week, pending acceptable weather, we’ll be replacing our damaged antenna and returning to full power and coverage.

During the installation phase our FM signal will be off the air for a few hours. While our FM signal is off-the-air, our Internet broadcast will continue uninterrupted on our website at mountainchill.com.

You can also stay connected to us on Tune-in and the Tune-in mobile app. by searching Mountain Chill or heading here. Local listeners can find us under the local radio tab.

We are also on iTunes Internet Radio. Mountain Chill is listed under the “ambient” category.

Lastly, you can find us on any vtuner enabled Internet devices including the Vtuner mobile app. Telluride listeners will find us under local radio.

Traditional terrestrial radio listening is up in record numbers and we are excited about participating in a new generation of independent commercial radio. And a huge thanks to our dedicated sponsors without whom we would not be on the air.
